Johann Joachim Spalding und die Anfänge des theologischen Anerkennungsbegriffs
Volume 112 (2015) / Issue 4, pp. 429-448 (20)
Johann Joachim Spalding (1714–1804) employs the German concept of recognition (Anerkennung) prominently in his late philosophy of religion. His elaborations coincide with Fichte and precede Hegel. The later theological usage of the German concept in Schleiermacher, Bultmann and Barth is fairly similar to that of Spalding.
