Practical theology has focused its attention on modern mass media, recently. Wilhelm Gräb, for example, argues, that a new form of religious life occurs in the ongoing transformation of modern society through television and AV-Media. The article comments on this topic from a point of view of systematic theology. It pleas for a phenomenological description of our life-world and points to a theology of the holy spirit as a stimulating context for a cultural theory of mediation.
