This article reviews collections of essays on the New Testament from recent years. The focus is especially on central issues of the New Testament, as well as on questions concerning the introduction into the New Testament and on the history of New Testament research. Furthermore, essays on questions of intertextuality, philology and ancient literature are reviewed. The articel gives a survey on dominant trends in New Testament research in recent years.
