Chinesisches Zivil- und Wirtschaftsrecht aus deutscher Sicht

Chinese private and economic law has recently been the object of groundbreaking legislative activity. Property law has just been codified for the first time, while the sectors of corporate, bankruptcy, and capital market law, competition law and labor law have undergone comprehensive reform that will profoundly affect business practices in the People's Republic. Since this legal development has also been influenced considerably by German law, a dialogue between the two legal systems both seems especially appropriate and promises to be particularly fertile at the moment.
