Denationalisierung des Privatrechts?

This book contains lectures given by leading experts on private law and the harmonization of laws at the symposium held on November 5, 2004 to celebrate the 70th birthday of Professor Dr. Karl Kreuzer in Würzburg. The authors examine the effects of the increasing denationalization of private substantive law and of the conflict of laws provisions in Europe and around the world. They focus on the problems of bringing the results of law-making activities into a uniform and well-organized system of private law. They also study the practical problems of coordination, in particular between the European Union and the world-wide organizations UNIDROIT and the Hague Conference on Private International Law.
