Summary
The economic activity of communities is one of the most controversial subjects in the present discussion among legal experts and economists. Ulrich Hösch examines the private perception of freedom and the varying legitimation of sovereign acts, one of which, according to the author, is community economic activity. He comes to the conclusion that economic activity by the community is only permissible in exceptional cases and it always requires legitimation.
