Entwurf für ein chinesisches Haftungsgesetz

The aim of the draft bill for a Chinese law of civil liability is to formulate a liability law for the 21st century which builds on the experiences of Western industrial societies in the last century. Its significance goes beyond the importance of the occasion for which it was developed (the completion of a Chinese civil code). With its legislative text (in German, English, French, Japanese and Chinese) and its extensive commentary, this will also serve as a point of reference for current national and EU law initiatives for the reform of liability law in Europe.
