Summary
Basing his work on valid German law and taking a consistently jurisprudential stance, Christian Starck deals with the subject of freedom and institutions from the point of view of comparative law and of history. In doing so, he has created a follow-up to his book Constitutionalism and Democracy, which was published seven years ago. The subjects mentioned here include the idea of man and legal institutions, freedom and organization, the function of legal institutions and a free system of communication.
