The 23rd edition of the Volume 3 commentaries on paragraphs 148–270 of Germany's Zivilprozessordnung (ZPO) incorporates all the latest developments, recent rulings and newest literature in the significant legal fields dealt with in the code. Among other things, the updated volume includes Herbert Roth's in-depth analysis on § 183's description of service abroad in service law, while his re-examination of §§ 230–238 takes the highest court rulings into consideration to provide a largely new commentary of the practically important area of restoration rights. Big changes have also been made to § 240's explanation of process interruption due to insolvency proceedings. The comprehensive introduction to § 253 outlines recent developments in judgements and scholarship on matter in dispute theory.
