This book offers an economic analysis of fundamental issues under public international law and European law. The chapters cover a range of topics, beginning with the analysis of international cooperation, the sources and enforcement of international law and the institutional arrangements of supranational decision-making. The book applies the analytical tools of law and economics to some core areas of public international law and European law, such as the European internal market, European competition law, international economic law, environmental and climate law, the international legal regime governing peace and war as well as human rights law.
