Störungen der Willensbildung bei Vertragsschluss

This volume contains the contributions to a symposium held to celebrate Hein Kötz's 70th birthday. The authors of the first four essays deal with the well-known triad of defects of contractual intent, i.e. mistake, fraud and duress. The fifth essay deals with the subject of »undue influence«. The volume is rounded off with two essays which study the legal consequences of defects of contractual consent as well as the question which contribution competition law can make to protect the freedom of contractual partners. Typical of all essays is the variety of methods and perspectives which also characterize Hein Kötz's own work: an interaction between comparative law, history of law, legal doctrine and economic analysis of law.
