Wolfgang Stützel (1925–1987) was one of the most thought-provoking and influential scholars of the last 50 years. Hartmut Schmidt Geboren 1941; 1961–67 Studium der Betriebswirtschaftslehre und des Handelslehramtes in Freiburg, Köln und Saarbrücken; 1969 Promotion; 1969–74 Lehrtätigkeit an der Syracuse University in New York; seit 1974 Professor für Allgemeine Betriebswirtschaftslehre an der Universität Hamburg; seit 1978 Geschäftsführender Direktor des Instituts für Geld- und Kapitalverkehr.
