Jörg Frey New Honorary Doctor of the University of Uppsala/Sweden
On January 26, 2024 Professor Frey has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate of the Faculty for Theology at the University of Uppsala (Sweden) for his studies on the relationship between Christianity and the Jewish world.
Professor Frey holds the chair for New Testament studies at the Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies at the University of Zurich (Switzerland) and has been a Mohr Siebeck author of numerous publications, editor of the WUNT series and of the journal Early Christianity for many years.
