Edited by Christian Albrecht, Peter Gemeinhardt, Jürgen Mohn, Michael Moxter, Konrad Schmid, and Jens Schröter
The textbook series New Theological Outlines, uses a monographic form to inform its readers about the pivotal subjects and problems in Protestant theology. Its structure is geared towards the five classic disciplines of the study of theology: Old and New Testament, church history, systematic theology, practical theology. It also deals with subjects which broaden the spectrum of recent theological core disciplines or those which belong specifically to theology. The series is directed mainly towards students of Protestant theology, its purpose being to familiarize them with the current status of the scholarly discussion surrounding the content, methodology and basic issues of the subject of each volume.
