We Are Expanding Our Theology Publishing Program

Effective 1 July, Mohr Siebeck has acquired the theology utb program from Narr Francke Attempto, comprising around 30 textbook titles, as well as the journal Zeitschrift für Neues Testament (ZNT).

This acquisition further strengthens Mohr Siebeck's theology publishing program and expands its presence in university teaching and academic education. The acquired utb titles complement the existing publishing program with well-established introductory textbooks as well as teaching and study guides for higher education. At the same time, the addition of ZNT broadens the publisher's journal portfolio in the field of New Testament studies.

The acquired titles are now searchable on our website and will continue to be available for ordering through utb. A smooth transition has been arranged for authors, editors, instructors, students, and libraries. A transitional period running until 31 December 2026 will ensure the uninterrupted management of all titles and journal subscriptions.

During the transition period, subscribers will continue to have access to ZNT via the Narr Francke Attempto eLibrary. From September onward, the journal will be migrated to the Mohr Siebeck eLibrary.
