Summary
On the one hundredth anniversary of the publication of Franz Rosenzweig's »The Star of Redemption«, attention is drawn to his theology of language and the corresponding idea of God (I). From this perspective, Rosenzweig's detailed interpretation of Gen 1 (II) and the Song of Songs (as a text of revelation) can be traced (III). Finally, the specific relationship between creation, revelation and eschatology is made comprehensible (IV).
