Summary
The concept of militant democracy has been booming. However, the discussion to date is based on a very incomplete picture of the normative program behind it. While a handful of constitutional provisions (especially Articles 9 II, 18, and 21 Basic Law) have regularly been in the foreground, this study identifies a total of 465 different manifestations of militant democracy using computer-assisted methods. On this basis, it presents the first comprehensive exploration of the law of militant democracy.
