Research institutions are not obliged to provide access to official information about their research in order to protect their academic freedom. However, the research conducted in museums is not part of this exception: in some cases, museums are legally obliged to publish their research results. In the absence of such legal regulation, the conducted research in museums serves to realize the state's cultural mission, thus, the academic freedom is not affected at all.
