Gott von außen – Religionsphilosophische Nebenbetrachtungen

'God' is playing a more prominent role again in philosophy, but also beyond. In recent years, there has been a proliferation of publications on a topic that, in some eyes, had become a mere anachronism. Especially in light of modern science and technology, such additional or substitute hypotheses no longer seemed necessary. However, in today's digital world and with its belief in the wonders of artificial intelligence, the question of God seems to have crept back in through the back door, albeit often in a rather unexpected form. The text discusses relevant as well as remote contributions to a contemporary understanding of God from a philosophical perspective and considers their possible consequences.
