Halachische Schriftauslegung. Auf der Suche nach einer jüdischen »Mitte der Schrift«

While Christian theologians use the expression of a »center« of the Old Testament, Jewish texts employ the metaphor of the »white interspace« between the letters of the Hebrew bible. This Jewish hermeneutics accounts for polysemy and exegetical pluriformity, but at the same time - from the perspective of the oral Torah - strives for a halakhic reading of biblical texts.
