Does the pandemic confront, theologically, with a new constellation? No – but this does not diminish dogmatic challenges. Given this background, the paper aims at addressing the pertinent question in which sense Christian hope is not only possible, but an adequate while still ambivalent mode of understanding and confronting this time for the sake of its post-pandemic follow-up.
