The article discusses the relationship between Jesus' claim to authority as it manifests itself in his interpretation of his healings, his authority to forgive sins, his attitude towards the Torah etc and post-Easter Christology. For the sake of terminological clarity, one should refrain from designating Jesus' claim to authority as a kind of pre-Easter Christology.
