It seems that the Roman Catholic church, with its worldwide centralized institutions and its traditional rites and colors, has done better in adjusting to the modern, media-oriented world than the Protestant church. Although the Protestant churches, their provincial and confessional fragmentation notwithstanding, have no reason to be jealous, they should use the changes to be identified in our society of mass media more deliberately and more confidently, especially in consideration of the visibility of the »visible church«. Even if all these aspects belong to the sphere of adiaphora, they have to be handled professionaly, efficiently and in the same way.
