Aktienrecht im Wandel

Starting with the passing of the Code de Commerce in 1807, which still claims validity in parts of Germany as well, the authors of this volume do a comprehensive reappraisal of the history of German corporate law. The first volume contains a chronological account of the development of corporate law, beginning with the forerunners of modern corporate law legislation and ending with the latest reforms of corporate law in 1965, which were to a large extent set in motion by European Community law. In the second volume, the authors deal with the central subjects of corporate law from today's point of view, thus adding a history of the institutions of corporate law to the history of corporate law contained in the first volume.
