Aposteldekret und antikes Vereinswesen

At the culmination of his presentation in the Apostolic Decree, the author of Acts provides rules for the organization of the community, whose historical and theological classification is an enigma. In this volume, authors from various disciplines collaborate to solve this enigma. The early Christian communities, for whom the Apostolic Decree was intended, were part of a large number of ancient associations, as were the Jewish synagogues. Thus linking the two provides new insights and knowledge.
