In this study, Serkan Ince describes the history of Islamic apologetics on Christianity in the Middle Ages and analyses central Islamic arguments on Christian theology, especially those of al-Jaʿfarī, who lived and worked in Egypt in the 13th century. The study contains a full translation of the main part of al-Jaʿfarīs Radd in the appendix.
