The authority, task, structure and implementation of New Testament theology are the subject of current debates. Some authors look for alternatives in terms of a history of early Christian religion or theology, whereas others search for the unity of New Testament theology within the diversity of early Christian concepts. The articles in this volume focus on these crucial issues.
