Summary
Although »education« is on everyone's lips, it is not a classic term of theological teaching. The fact that »education« has nevertheless been of enormous importance for the Christian religion and other religions is demonstrated here by contributions from all disciplines of theology, complemented by different perspectives from educational science to Jewish studies, Islamic studies and Buddhist research.
