Summary
Christoph Leifer studies the question of the correct relationship and the interaction between environmental policy on the one hand and forms of social self-regulation on the other hand in the case of the EMAS and examines whether or not the advantages of social self-regulation systems are being used without disregarding the protective obligations of the government as well as private positions on fundamental rights in order to achieve efficiency in the entire system.
