Summary
The right to assemble is an important part of a democracy. Taking Georgia and the legal-political development process it currently finds itself in as an example, Ketevan Giorgishvili reveals the conflicts that are bound up with this and their legitimation. When compared to the rulings of the European Court of Human Rights, it can be seen that there is room for improvement in Georgian law. Only then can the right to assemble claim its constitutionally legal quality as a responsive right.
