Das Parlament im Verfassungsstaat

This volume, which is being published to celebrate Hans Hugo Klein's seventieth birthday, contains a selection of his texts which attest to his many years of work in the legislature as a member of the Federal German Parliament and in the judiciary as a judge in the Federal Constitutional Court. The articles deal with the basic principles of a democratic constitutional state, the dogmatics of fundamental rights, the constitutional organs ( Bundestag, Bundesrat), constitutional jurisdiction and the history of the constitution. This cross-section of Hans Hugo Klein's work shows the purview of his journalistic activities and brings together in one volume the large number of his articles which are fundamental to constitutional law and which have not lost any of their topicality.
