An author who has experienced a lot of publishers and a publisher who has experienced a lot of authors have written a book together. To be more precise: Each of them explains these experiences from his point of view. The result is a book with some answers to the many questions regarding the relationship between authors and publishers. It provides both comfort and advice: comfort for all those who have at some time suffered or are still suffering because of this relationship; advice for all those who are preparing to enter into such a relationship. 'The Author and His Publisher': The title is not new. What is new is that this book has been written by an author and by a publisher.
