Summary
Claudia Süssenbach deals with the composition and the theology of the so-called »Elohistic Psalter« (Ps 42-83). She examines the structure of the Psalter and, using the observations she has made, shows that the Elohistic Psalter was originally a separate composition. The entire composition of the Elohistic Psalter reflects the paths in human lives and shows that even when humans think God is far away he remains close by to act as their savior.
