The eternity of God is God's power over time and his own relationship to time. He can keep all times present to himself simultaneously or enter into the shift of times and experience change and temporality. This hypothesis is presented by Jan Schole in his study, which aims to develop a model demonstrating that this concept of eternity is consistently conceivable.
The eternity of God is God's power over time and his own relationship to time. He is able to alter this relationship: he can keep all times present to himself simultaneously or enter into the shift of times and experience change and temporality. This hypothesis is presented by Jan Schole at the beginning of his study, which aims to develop a model demonstrating that this concept of eternity is consistently conceivable. The building blocks and templates for this model are gathered from the analysis and interpretation of selected physical theories and Schelling's late philosophy. The author shows how his model allows for transitions between various temporal forms and relations, and thus how power over time, as hypothesized, can be reconstructed without contradiction.
