Summary
In natural sciences it is said that everything that exists can be understood as a »composition of matter,« i.e., as a substance. Barely noticed by jurisprudence, this logic was incorporated into numerous structures of law where it raises more and more urgent questions. Stefanie Merenyi examines these questions among others from a legal philosophical and theoretical perspective.
