In copyright law, the fundamental freedom of contract is faced with numerous facts which are used to examine the »fairness« of the exchange. The present volume compiles the proceedings of the INTERGU Conference 2012. The authors discuss the conditions for »fairness« from the perspective of economics, constitutional and European law. This discussion prepares the ground for an analysis of individual national regulations in copyright law which are intended to regulate »fairness« of the exchange.
