Summary
The growth of enterprises is generally regarded as a natural procedure, which means that it is seldom given special attention. However when a company becomes so big that the terms 'industrial giant', 'giant group' or 'global player' can be applied to it, it has often already gained influence on the overall economy. Christian Förster studies the manner in which the law has faced these problems up to now. He focuses on corporations, but deals with both German and Japanese law.
