Migration policies continue to be a matter of public concern. Many of the more recent publications on the subject analyze the matter from the perspective of a failure of established institutions and a disregard for legal obligations. Without playing down the challenges of the current developments, the present volume intends to overcome the predominant perception of a »crisis« and places the emphasis on options for shaping future migration policies.
