Summary
Equal treatment is the objective of basic fundamental rights and human rights in constitutional law, European Union law and public international law. These provisions are usually dealt with separately, yet show similarities that are outlined in this study. Along with this, the authors develop a conceptual framework which encompasses the conditions of applicability of equal-treatment provisions as well as their substantive content.
