Summary
The individual has long been seen as being only a part of the state, which is the primary subject of public international law. Recently, however, it has become a generally accepted fact that the individual has international rights and obligations, which means that he has at least limited legal capacity. This volume reflects recent tendencies in this dynamic field and provides perspectives for further development.
