In France, different proposals for a reform of the law of liability and damages, a part of the Civil Code that has widely remained unchanged since 1804, are under discussion. The Belgian legislator is preparing a reform in the same area. This book aims to analyze these reform processes in the two interwoven systems and their interaction with the development of European private law.
