Die Reformation

In this work, the authors explore the Reformation's origins, character, effects and its potential for the future. In programmatic formulae, a church historian and a scholar of systematic theology describe the effects of the Reformation, which was new then and still is today. From an historical perspective, the authors focus on the tense relationship between the Reformation and the Middle Ages and the relevance of Luther's »95 Theses« for the unity of the Reformation. The significance of the Reformation for the present is centered around the question of how its central position of faith, mercy, Christ and the Bible can be transferred to modern pluralistic contexts of life.
