Dogmatik didaktisch

Explaining dogmatics for educational processes in schools, universities, and communities requires a basic theology based on questions arising from everyday life. Using didactic and religious-educational approaches, this handbook examines dogmatic questions in the context of personal existence and social challenges. It offers innovative presentations of classic dogmatic themes in the areas of theology, Christology, pneumatology, ecclesiology, and eschatology. Furthermore, it introduces selected positions and figures in the history of theology and expands on them with international and »new perspectives,« such as criticism of racism, queer theology, and postcolonial theology. For the first time, this textbook addresses the question of media and learning paths in dogmatics: How can dogmatics be understood through working with literary texts, images, songs, films, or social media, through exploring church spaces, or in the context of liturgical celebrations? These topics are explored from an ecumenical perspective, taking denominational differences into account. The handbook is aimed at both religious education teachers and university lecturers.
