Doping - warum nicht?

This volume documents the contributions of a multidisciplinary conference in which a comparative study of doping was carried out. Based on a sceptical appraisal of this subject from a jurisprudential perspective, the authors outline the basic biochemical principles, the sociological reconstruction of the parties concerned as well as the constitutional ethics and economics of the doping problem. They also analyze the subject of doping as a point of reference for self-regulation in sport, possible means of control from the perspective of criminal law, pharmaceutical law and competition law as well as the constitutional limits to a mandatory anti-doping program. The authors also present possible solutions to the questions pertaining to this subject.
