Summary
The Special Court in Katowice was a German criminal court set up after the attack on Poland in 1939 that operated until January 1945. The annexation of Upper Silesia by the Third Reich and the introduction of the German People's List saw the court deal with criminal, economic and political offences under the Nazi regime's wartime criminal law.
