In view of the expansion on May 1, 2004, friends and teachers at the Andrassy University in Budapest, where the language is German, met to question the identity of Europe, to assess the structure of the enlarged European Union and to try to analyze the choice of constitution and the constitutional changes from an economic, political and legal standpoint. The book provides an interdisciplinary and controversial discussion concerning a constitution for Europe on the eve of European reunification.
