Europäisches Kreditsicherungsrecht

The establishment of a Single European Market for credit transactions essentially depends on the harmonization of collaterals and their mutual recognition in the Member States. This book gives an account of the achievements of this harmonization and of the scholarly work in progress in the fields of personal securities and the assignment of receivables as well as securities in movables and immovables. It compiles the papers of a conference held at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg in December 2008.
