The new edition has been thoroughly revised and now also contains German capital markets law. New sections deal with the private law aspects of capital markets law, in particular the civil liability of issuers and market participants. In addition, digitalization of capital markets and (ecological) sustainability as a new regulatory goal in capital markets law are described in new sections. The new edition further discusses regulatory strategies and provides new sections about governance requirements for investment firms.
