Summary
Many people believe that the answer to demographic change is a family voting right, meaning that parents vote on behalf on their children. Sebastian Müller-Franken analyzes the assumptions in constitutional law on which the concept is based. He does however first of all pose the theoretical question of why states should be concerned with demography at all.
