Summary
Formal theory of constitution reduces conventional concepts of constitution to their common core: the constitution as the highest-ranking basic order of a community. By means of legal theory, specific concepts of constitution can be derived from this, e.g. the constitution of a state or club, and correlated with one another within different communities and legal systems.
